The story Behind NW Apparel

Noire Waters began as a shared dream between three friends from Atlanta: a pharmacist, a higher ed professional, and an IT accountant — united by the belief that life’s best moments happen on the water, together. What started in 2021 with a single yacht in Washington, D.C. grew into a global charter brand offering curated experiences aboard sailboats and catamarans from the French Riviera to Jamaica. Along the way, Noire Waters became more than a charter company — it became a lifestyle rooted in heritage, connection, and sustainability.
NW Apparel carries that vision forward into the hands of those who live and move with the water.
Created for the sailing world, NW Apparel is made for those who race, cruise, or simply show up as “seat meat” — because every presence counts on the water. Whether you're trimming sails or taking in your first crossing, each piece is designed to move naturally with the rhythm of the sea.
You’ll find NW Apparel at regattas, aboard our catamarans, and alongside first-time sailors discovering the ocean for the first time.
Beginning in 2025, each piece is made with SEAQUAL® Yarn—spun from upcycled marine plastic recovered through global clean-up efforts. Every item carries a piece of that purpose forward.
This isn’t just clothing. It’s a reflection of what we value: community, sustainability, and style that moves with you.
Because no matter how you show up on the water—captain, crew, or seat meat—you deserve apparel that feels right, carries meaning, and gives back.

"I bought the Noire Waters jacket for a trip, but now I wear it everywhere. It’s functional, clean, and actually feels connected to the brand, not just something with a logo."
