The story Behind NW Apparel

Noire Waters began as a shared vision between two friends from Atlanta, with backgrounds in healthcare and education, who believed that life’s best moments happen on the water. What started in 2021 with a single yacht in Washington, DC has grown into a global charter brand, curating sailboat and catamaran experiences from the French Riviera to Jamaica.

 

Along the way, Noire Waters became more than a charter company. It became a lifestyle shaped by heritage, connection, and time spent on the water.

 

NW Apparel brings that lifestyle ashore and at sea. Built for the sailing world, our pieces move with the rhythm of the ocean whether you are trimming sails, cruising, or showing up as seat meat, because every presence on board matters. You will find NW Apparel at regattas, aboard our catamarans, and with first time sailors discovering the water.

 

Beginning in 2025, each piece is crafted using SEAQUAL® Yarn made from upcycled marine plastic recovered through global cleanup efforts. The result is apparel designed to perform on the water, feel right off it, and carry purpose without compromise.
