Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY Purpose: The goal of our cancellation policy is to offer a clear and fair process for managing changes and cancellations to our tour reservations. We aim to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers while maintaining an efficient and balanced operation. Cancellation Due to Bad Weather If adverse weather conditions (such as storms, hurricanes, or extreme winds) make the boat trip unsafe, we reserve the right to cancel the trip. Notification will generally be provided at least 24 hours in advance. In such cases, the customer may choose to reschedule the trip to a future available date or receive a full refund of the amount paid. For the purposes of determining whether conditions are considered unsafe, that decision will be made exclusively by either: The Port Captain of Puerto Vallarta, acting under the authority of the Secretary of the Navy, or The Licensed Captain of the chartered yacht. In rare situations where unexpected weather conditions make it unsafe to depart, the decision to cancel may be made at the last minute at the sole discretion of our Captain. In these instances, we will first make every effort to reschedule the trip. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued. Water Activities & Sea Conditions Water activities, including but not limited to: snorkeling, swimming, and paddle boarding, are subject to sea and weather conditions. The safety of our guests is our top priority, and our crew will determine if such activities can be safely conducted. If sea conditions prevent these activities from taking place, the trip will proceed as planned, and no cancellations, refunds, or partial refunds will be issued. Guests may still enjoy other aspects of the charter experience. Cancellation by the Customer Cancellation with more than 7 days’ notice: The customer may cancel the trip and receive a full refund (less processing fees) of the amount paid. Cancellation with less than 7 days’ notice: The client will be refunded all amounts paid, excluding the deposit and any applicable processing fees. The deposit amount will be retained as the cancellation fee. Cancellation within 24 hours of departure: Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled tour time will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for any refund.
